I'm 14 1/2 weeks along in my pregnancy, and I'm noticing so many subtle changes, it blows my mind. Things like: my gums bleed at the slightest thought. I can only see toes instead of feet. My stretchy work pants that I would never dream of wearing without a belt unless I wanted to show off 5" of plumber's crack are a litte tight. Forget wearing a belt with them!
And finally, my outtie belly-button (which was starting to creep innie before prego-momma due to flab, but that's an entirely different story) is sticking more outtie, but is also getting really flat. I just noticed it yesterday. It's so weird! I have a feeling my "turkey-timer" is going to pop before the turkey is really done. I still have a long ways to go yet.
The other thing is, I received a postcard in the mail the other day advertising 3-D ultrasounds. How cool would that be? We'd get to find out what our baby looks like before it's even born! I know, it also kind of ruins the surprise. But it would be so cool! Plus, Jesus and I are so impatient. I did a tiny bit of research, and it looks like it's only $250 or so for the good package with a dvd, a cd of pictures, and some 3-D picture prints. The only problem is that $250 is a bunch of money for 2 people that only have 1 job between them, and are barely scraping by. So maybe the 3-D pictures are needed so badly after all.
