The news is out. Jesus and I are expecting our first little nino at the end of August. We found out a couple days before Christmas. We wrapped up the test box and gave it to both my parents and his. My mom thought it was a tampon box. His dad wouldnt fininsh opening the box because there wasnt anything in it. We have goofy parents. But they are all really excited and cant wait until D-Day.
We had our first ultrasound on Wednesday, and we got to see our little bean. It was such a neat experience. Before Wednesday, all we really had to go on was 2 peed on sticks. That and a couple of 'Aunt Flo'-free months. When we saw the ultrasound, it became real. The dr. even gave us a video tape of the whole ultrasound. The baby did NOT stop moving, which is a good sign of things to come, I'm sure. :-)
We also got a crib today. I spoke to a gal at church the other day and she happened to mention that her daughter had a crib that she was looking to get rid of. I spoke to her daughter at church today, and she happened to be storing the crib in her car and dropped it off at our house this afternoon. So now we have a really nice Ikea crib upstairs in our "baby room". I love free stuff!
